We weighted claim settlement ratio (25%), average settlement days (20%), DodoDoggy overall rating (25%), coverage breadth supporting claim volume and variety (15%), and annual premium (15%). Both settlement ratio and settlement speed were treated as equally important — a high ratio with slow settlement scores lower than a slightly lower ratio with faster resolution. Data sourced from provider disclosures, IRDAI annual reports, and verified reviewer claims experience.
